Hannah Yi is a journalist based in New York City. Currently she is a Producer for PBS NewsHour Weekend. Previously she was a Producer for the national PBS news magazine show Need to Know. She also worked for the ABC News Longform Documentary Unit and on the CNN show Anderson Cooper 360°. Hannah was part of AC360°‘s Emmy award winning coverage of the 2010 Haiti earthquake as well as the Peabody award winning coverage of the 2010 Gulf Oil Spill.
Hannah earned her M.S. degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and her B.A. degree in Communications and English from the University of Pennsylvania. When taking a break from journalism, she shoots and edits videos for Just a Taste.
